Was Leckeres für Kenner.
Been there, done that. Nothing new under the sun? Ennui? This ubiquitous attitude of being bored hasn´t taken COBODY into account. So, please, forget about yawning! You better get ready for goosebumps in the seconds of recognition that something you know is different. Slightly different. Or really different. Wait a second! Isn´t that …? „Whipping Post“ by the Allman Brothers Band? You may know this song, but you have not heard it that way. Reduced to the essence! Or just take „Belmondo“! A swingin´ trip into the airy atmospheres of a French Nouvelle Vague movie high in the midsixties. Godard? Truffaut? De Broca? You name it, but you´ ll get trapped on the wrong track for some time, until the guitar … Okay, but this is an original song by COBODY, which could be a classic as well.
Is it Pop? Is it Jazz? If it is Jazz, we´d better call it Space-Jazz. Head in the clouds, okay, but grounded in memories solidly based on a enthusiastic coming of age with Popmusic. Free Funk might fit as well, when you think of COBODY. »Free« meaning open and unbound and »Funk« meaning functional and workable. Just look forward to cool encounters with Soul Jazz-Polit-classic „Compared To What“ or the likes of The Rolling Stones or Steppenwolf. Or – courageous COBODYS – The Beatles of all people! But watch out! These guys are no cover band! They take any song and transform it into something new, something special: COBODY style! Groovy, fresh and absolutely here and now. Stop! Look! And Listen! Carefully! COBODY does it better!
